Xamally is a mobile app that turns a university student’s exam dates into a daily study plan. Students add each course, its exam date and how much it matters; Xamally shares their study time by priority and plans backwards from each exam, so every course is fresh on the day that counts. A missed session is postponed, not lost: the time moves to the next free study slots before the exam. When the plan starts to slip, the app shows the student’s own promise, in words, a photo or a short video, instead of a stock quote. Xamally is based on a master’s thesis: 18 students were interviewed before any design, and 37 students used the first version during their real final exams.
